Top 10 Best 49ers Bars in Austin, TX
A good friend of mine is unfortunately a San Francisco 49ers fan that lives in Austin. She attends all the watch party games in town. She’s from the Bay Area so I can understand her allegiance completely. Her old home is almost 2,000 miles away, but she is a diehard fan still.
I have yet to hang out with her since moving back into Austin because of our work schedules always conflicting. However, now that the NFL playoffs have kicked off, these 49ers are in postseason contention for a Superbowl appearance.
I’m hoping that the 49ers get eliminated from playoff contention because it’s R-A-I-D-E-R-S all day! I called her up this past weekend to hangout, and watch her team lose in front of me.
Just my luck, the 49ers won this weekend.
8 Track Austin
8 Track is a neighborhood bar and restaurant located in North Austin about 20 minutes from downtown. You’ll notice upon pulling into the parking there’s available spaces everywhere. 8 Track is definitely kid friendly because they have a basketball court for those who would like to play.
I walked inside and almost passed out. This place was flooded with 49ers fans. I felt so uncomfortable and out of my element for those 10 minutes. I’m an Oakland Raiders fan and grew up hating on the 49ers. As you can imagine, I walked my ass right back outside after 10 minutes. I’ll never do that again.
