Electric Daisy Carnival

EDC LAS VEGAS 2016

EDC is off the hook. It’s a three-day weekend, house music event, jam packed with EDM’s biggest DJ’s, headlining at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway every June. What makes the outdoor festival challenging, is the fact that it runs from 7PM until’ 7AM, each of those days. Not only are you pushing your body toward exhaustion, but temperatures can reach over 100 degrees easily in the desert.

Still, hundreds of thousands of people drive, fly and ride into Las Vegas for an epic weekend. The city gets flooded with men and women wearing bright colored clothing, to minimal attire exposing their buttocks or bust freely. Paid attendees wait a whole year just to listen to their favorite artists live and upfront under the desert stars.

It’s at sunset that people drive into EDC with orange Tesla’s, sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, waiting to park. Soon after, the floors of casino hotel rooms are filled with friends and family members laying across the floor to sleep,

The following sunset sets the stage for round two of this three day event. It’s important that you bring vitamins for proper nourishment and drinking water for hydration. You will be tested and mentally worn down. Remember, you’ll be standing for hours.

A three-day wristband will cost $350 but selling your Sunday portion will get you a return of almost half the money back.

Do not, try going to pool parties before entering EDC. Why waste your money any more than you need too. A double shot of vodka will be $60 anyway.

Enjoy.
