Disneyland Park
Disneyland growing up in the Bay Area is only a five-hour drive from San Jose, CA. You get to drive 85 miles per hour on Interstate 5 anticipating just getting there. The speed limit is 70 MPH. The trick is to get into Disneyland before it opens early in the morning.
Space Mountain Rides & Attractions
Space Mountain should be your first start because It’s the best ride. You ride in a two-seater, roller-coaster that’s themed after the space constellation. The duration of the ride is sitting in pitch black darkness, but you see stars everywhere. The ride is full of twists and turns at rapid speeds. You must grab onto the armrest for what feels like dear life. Don’t worry you won’t be going upside down. Thank God.
Splash Mountain Rides & Attractions
I hate this ride. I don’t do heights. I hate moving at fast speeds other than being in a car. This ride is the second best. This ride will possibly cover your whole pants in water because it’s a water-themed attraction. You walk upward toward the peak of a mountain, where you’re then placed in a log meant for several people to be seated. The log shoots you straight down, from what feels like several hundred feet from the air down. You could get wet, maybe not!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Rides & Attractions
This is my favorite ride! You’re riding in a train that goes Hella fast hitting corners and turns at rapid speeds. It almost feels like that train will fall off the tracks. I swear! Ride this at night too because it goes even faster at night. There will be drops where it looks like your head will hit parts of the mountain which is cool. I tuck my head down every time.
Haunted Mansion Disneyland Park
The wait time for this attraction is always long despite not being that good. Nevertheless, during Halloween, this is where you want to be at specifically. You enter this old looking mansion and in a ride meant for two people to sit on. You will see ghosts and the host of your ride, Jack Skelleton. Remember the movie, “A Nightmare Before Christmas!” I love that movie. The ride will show you parts from the movie which is awesome.
Indiana Jones Adventure Rides & Attractions
This ride is awesome! You ride in an actual jeep. You enter a temple so-to-speak with thee, Indiana Jones. Together, you help accomplish his goal of once again trying to rescue the world from ancient curses. The jeep goes up then down hills and you feel the hydraulics tremendously. It’s almost like you’re riding an ATV. I can see how this ride could be the best attraction in Disneyland but see for yourself.
Matterhorn Bobsleds Rides & Attractions
What makes this ride different is the fact that you’re in a mountain covered with fake snow. The zinging in and out of corners all while trying to avoid being attacked by a fake abominable Snowman. You go up then down and rapid speeds. You could get wet at the very end so be cautious.
In closing, Disneyland doesn’t serve any beer throughout any of the park or alcohol which can be a bummer. However, it does make sense why they wouldn’t. It’s truly for the kids. I grew up coming here as a kid and it was always safe. I never had a bad experience. Alcohol would ruin it for any kid. You can complete the park in one day just drink coffee. The castle is amazing at night. Just ask your significant other to be your girlfriend right in front of the castle.
