ACL may not be as popular as Coachella in California but the weather here is a lot cooler for the month of October. This yearly two-weekend music event is always held in the capital of Texas with an attendance reaching the hundreds of thousands. The best part is buying food from various vendors for only $8.
Guns N’ Roses headlined this past Friday night and musician Slash was pretty damn good. His solo performances alone were such a treat. There’s nothing like listening to the song Paradise City while buzzed. Axl Rose blessed us with his performance. Luckily my one-day admission was about $110 but 3-day wristbands can reach up to $300. It’s worth checking out especially when you have a view of downtown as the backdrop.
Bring a bandanna so that you’re not breathing in dirt as you are at a park. Sunblock is a must because it will be blazing hot. welcome to Texas. Check ACL’s website for upcoming artists that will be coming next October.
