The Jersey Shore

Penn Station in New York, NY is one of the busiest rail hubs that you will see in the world. Its plaza gets flooded with millions of commuters and visitors yearly. The subway system is the best and most convenient way to get from point A to point B.

I rode the ”A” train subway line for about 90 miles heading south into Tom Rivers, NJ. The ride was slow, lengthy and at times made me wish I didn’t pay for the less than $3 fare. However, it was the only way for getting toward the Jersey Shore.

The train dropped me off at Toms River Municipal Bus Terminal, and I paid for a taxicab to drive me to Seaside Heights, NJ. The drive is only eight miles away so not too bad. The Shore House looks just like it did on T.V. You can’t enter or knock on the door because there’s a no trespassing sign posted. The Shore House is rent-able for future reservations but expect a year long wait.

The boardwalk is less than 100 feet away and is actually built on top of an ocean part so-to-speak. You can see the waves through the wood floorboards beneath your feet, coming in and out. That was cool.

Karma Night Club is only a two-minute walk from the house. You’ll see bright blue lights that will be hard to miss because it’s so radiant. Karma’s a small venue that’s two-floor levels but its bright ass lights make up for it.

I decided to make this trip back in March. I would avoid going during that time because it’s going to be very cold.

Lastly, be warned that people from New Jersey can be jerks. I caught that quick when trying to check into my hotel which was just a walking distance away.
