Avaya Stadium is a day-party for sports enthusiasts of all ages, especially those 21+. My first experience here was awesome. I didn’t realize that Avaya plays hosts to the women’s and men’s World Cup soccer matches. The televised games are shown here on two giant scoreboard televisions. Visitors can park their vehicles inside for free and enter the gates at no additional cost. Avaya Stadium certainly knows how to bring the community together, especially on match days. Residents living in the Bay Area bring their families and kids for a fun-filled day.
There’s a huge bar at the left-end of the soccer field. That’s where the actions at and also fun-filled with activities for kids. This includes face painting, taco trucks, and prizes. Avaya will even provide donuts for early morning games. Now is that hospitality or what. I mean, name another sports organization, other than the Oakland A’s that could do something like this.
Check out an app called Gametime in the iPhone. You can purchase cheap tickets for the San Jose Earthquakes soccer games. That’s something you should experience. The fans are passionate and young for this team you can hear it in their voices. The bar left of the soccer field is a huge hangout spot. You can see the entire field perfectly from ground level with no obstructions. Every now and then, a mariachi band will be there playing music!
Like I said, take the Light Rail because it’s convenient and you avoid having to drive. You will have to pay for parking when the Earthquakes play. Luckily, Interstate 880 is just around the corner to drive home after exiting the stadium
