Levi's Stadium
Levi’s Stadium - Home of The San Francisco 49ers
I moved back into the Bay Area from Austin and unfortunately had to check out this NFL stadium here in Santa Clara, CA. My best friend is a 49ers fan, so he brought me to a game. I’m a Raiders fan through and through. R-A-I-D-E-R-S.
The stadium sits next to California’s Great America amusement park. That place has rollercoasters for those thrill seekers and a waterpark. The problem with Levi’s is the tailgating parking. It takes a long time to enter the gates and traffic is horrendous. I noticed that the 49er fans don’t park their vehicles side-by-side. Instead, they like to leave gaps between cars, so they don’t talk to one another. Come on, the tailgate is the best part.
My friend and I rode the VTA Light Rail into Levi’s Stadium to avoid traffic and it is so convenient. The station is close to my parents and is located at the Great Mall of Milpitas, CA. We just parked our car at the mall to pick it up later. A round-trip fare is only $5 and covers you for eight hours.
The sun hits the stadium directly and feels hotter by the hour. The old stadium, Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA didn’t have that problem. Though, it always had overcast weather and windy gamedays.
This stadium is alright he he.
