I found this spot while scrolling through Yelp one day, and always wanted to check it out.
Ave. 26 Taco Stand as their called, are located right around the corner from where the L.A. Dodgers play. The best part is that they sell one-dollar tacos every day!
Do you remember the movie “Boyz n the Hood”? There’s a scene in the film where the actor Ice Cube is chilling with his homies outside of his car, on that busy street. A gang of “Bloods” walk up to his brother and bump into him. Ice Cube then says, “Hold on, hold on. Oh we got a problem here?”.
That street that you see, where all the cars are parked, people just hanging out, reminds me of Ave 26 Taco Stand’s parking lot. Minus the bloods, bad people or their intentions.
The environment is family friendly and they even play Spanish music in the parking lot. A police office walks around the premises so it’s safe even if you’re from out-of-town.
Who doesn’t love tacos?
