SJ Sharks Hockey

Official San Jose Sharks NHL

San Jose Sharks games are always a treat. I always say that hockey games are more intense than NFL games in person. Especially in San Jose, CA because of its loyal fan-base. The city is yet to win a championship, yet fans continue to stay hopeful. You can’t blame them because it’s only a matter of time.

Located in the heart of downtown San Jose, CA you’ll find SAP Center which is home to these Sharks. Tickets aren’t that expensive, and I usually buy them through the App called Gametime. Before a game, I usually park and then pregame at Whole Foods Market located just down the road from SAP. It’s two levels and upstairs they have an outdoor bar full of craft beers. I’m a big fan of Hefeweizen beer especially the Weihenstephaner. It’s smooth and rich. Who wants to spend $15 for one alcoholic-beverage at a sporting event, right?

An hour before the Sharks game starts my 10-minute walk toward SAP begins. That’s usually when I find a street vendor along the way selling bacon wrapped hotdogs for five dollars each. The aroma of bacon and jalapenos sizzling on a grill is hard to resist. Do not resist the urge, trust me.

Twenty dollars gets me a nice buzz and a full stomach before the game.

Have fun!
