Oakland Raiders Booster Fan Club in Austin, TX

As the 2019-2020 NFL season kicked off, I had to find a watch party for Raiders games on Sundays, despite living in Texas. I wasn’t going to convert myself to a Cowboys fan now.

Luckily, I found this spot in North Austin called Bombshells and it felt like being back home. The venue is flooded in black jerseys and I could hear cussing after each bad play the Raiders committed. It turns out that in Austin, there’s an officially recognized Oakland Raiders Booster Fan Club for Central Texan’s who live in Texas.

On game days, fans come and get together. What’s cool is that the club always has a raffle each week, raffling off Raiders merchandise. Tickets sell for five dollars apiece or you can get three tickets for $10. The items vary ranging from stickers to stitched jerseys.
