The Rose Room Austin

Rose Room hands-down may be the best nightclub in Austin for EDM music. It reminds me of the Supperclub in L.A., and City Nights from S.F. mixed into one. I say that because people actually perform acrobatics above its dance floor and the music is always on point.

It’s located 20 minutes North of Austin at an area called The Domain. That particular place has been dubbed the second downtown of Austin and is full of classier shopping areas, restaurants and bars. Rose Room can be spotted near Jack & Ginger’s Irish pub and only opens at night.

Inside Rose Room, there’s a cool escalator that takes you for a ride toward the second level. That’s when their hostesses kindly welcome you in for a VIP type feel. This place also doesn’t have a cover charge!

Rose Room has a great crowd inside. You notice it around 10:30 P.M. when you’re on the third level starting down toward the dance floor. That’s when the DJ starts to hit you with songs like “Faithless,” by Insomnia and “You Don’t Know Me,” by Armand Van Helden. Now those are some tracks to play!

The DJ simply tries to outdo himself and get better with the song selections. You can find me here on Saturdays. Keep it up Rose Room !
