Universal Orlando | Park Tickets

Hi Everyone!

I just got back home from sunny Orlando, FL. The weather is lovely over there this time of year 75 degrees to be exact. I spent two days at Universal Studios. My legs are so sore! Orlando has been on my list for a while to visit. I’m more of a Miami-type of guy.

I’m a huge fan of Universal Studios in L.A.. Why, because I hate rollercoasters lol. I do not appreciate going fast or upside down in loops. It’s not for me. I don’t do heights. This place gives me just enough in terms of thrills.

The Orlando resort is massive. It’s designed as a big oval shape.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Universal Studios Orlando

Man, after all these years I’m still a Harry Potter fan lol. I thank my 5th-grade teacher for gifting me Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone book back in the 90s during class. I still love reading to this day.

Now, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is an ok ride. However, your highlight should be viewing a dragon’s fire inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

You really marvel at the beauty and amount of detail that went into designing it. It sits above Gringotts bank daring anyone to rob from it.

Fire spews from its mouth every five minutes measuring 20 feet in length. Now that’s awesome. Diagon Alley has a plethora of stores for shopping. Yet, I wish more alleys could have been built for exploring around more.

CityWalk : The Epicenter of Awesome

Please visit the Bob Marley-A Tribute to Freedom restaurant and order a rasta pasta. I’m now in the process of learning how to cook it. It’s delicious.

I found it by accident on CityWalk. Right next door there’s a Fat Tuesday too. Inside there’s a live band playing reggae music. Bob Marley’s memorabilia is hanging all around the walls. I should have enjoyed a jay prior to walking in. I messed up but its definitely worth checking out.

After, make sure you head to the Revenge of the Mummy Ride. It’s the best ride in my opinion in Universal Studios. It’s better than the one in L.A. It's faster, elevates higher, drops, and has a completely different track. I loved it.

Holiday Inn & Suites Across From Universal Orlando, an IHG Hotel

This Holiday Inn is a 10-minute walk to the theme park. I recommend it. I also suggest that you purchase all three theme park tickets. I didn’t and regret it now. Always treat a trip like you’ll never go back again. This includes Island of the Adventures and Volcano Bay.

Just check out the VelociCoaster Ride and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Each respected one has a massive rollercoaster. The tracks are endless.

Now, let me leave you with this. I do think that Universal Studios in L.A. is better than Orlando. Why, because of Jurassic Park and now Mario. However, Orlando has 3-parks for more walking and not small. I’ll definitely be back for Disney World now.

Lastly, check out these two nightlife spots downtown. Bullitt Bar and Cocktails & Screams. Have fun!
