Happy Birthday to me!

New York City, Things to Do | Official Guide to New York

Happy Birthday to me! I finally made my way back to revisiting New York after ten years, and it was worth the wait. New Yorkers have finally become polite, and they want to help you with directions now!

Hudson Yards: Live, Shop, Work, Work & Dine in New York

My friend told me about the Hudson Yards, and I'm glad he did. I can share it with you now.

You may have seen the Vessel in popular music videos. However, seeing it with your own eyes is another thing. This structure and visitor attraction is open to the public for free!

Unfortunately, due to several suicides, there's no access past the first floor.

Edge - Observation Deck | Hudson Yards

Man, this is one of my favorite tourist spots in the world. It's across the street from the Vessel. Inside the 30 Hudson Yards building, you'll walk toward the fourth floor. Once there, you'll purchase a $43 admission ticket for Edge an observation deck that's 100-stories-high. It has 360-degree views of NYC with a glass floor.

I still smile thinking about it. You'll thank me later!

Oculus Center | Transportation Hub | World Trade Center

The World Trade Center has flourished over these years. I love that New York came back stronger after 9-11. The Oculus provides 12 subway lines. Millions of people bustle through its main floor yearly. Its skeletal structure had me thinking I was inside of a dinosaur for some reason.

Plan a Trip to Brooklyn | Discover New Things to Do in NYC

I spent a lot of time in Brooklyn wandering around and getting lost on foot. I noticed that it's the desired location to live and be by most people.

Please visit Not Ray's Pizza and get yourself a slice of lasagna pizza. It tastes just like lasagna! Around the corner, you'll find a mural of rapper Bigger Smalls. He grew up in this neighborhood. It's safe.

You'll also want to check out Timeout Market. It's a waterfront hangout filled with local food & drinks. You get the opportunity to see the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge for your Instagram stories!

Lastly, I can't forget about DUMBO. It's such a beautiful area for taking photos and seeing the Brooklyn Bridge.

Enjoy!
