Graffiti Park Austin, TX

One of my friends in Austin told me about this spot. She took me to the Whole Foods near West 11th street and up on top of a hill. Graffiti Park as it’s known let’s people buy actual spray-paint to paint on it’s walls. It just so happens that concrete walls make up this territory. Each day, new art work is added by someone and is a real gem in the city.

Sit back and drink a beer, if you will. i normally come up here on the weekends because downtown is very visible. In addition, there’s a castle that sits up top. It’s private property so you can’t trespass but t sure looks cool.

I had the chance to bring my best friend and sister up here when they visited me from the Bay Area. Check it out because one day it could be gone.
