Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors NBA

I started attending the Warriors games through a best friend of mine. He told me that tickets were only $11 so I couldn’t say no! Tickets are available through Stub Hub and only have small service fees.

Our new routine is to get a bunch of friends together either for a Thursday or Friday night game. Tickets are most expensive on the weekends, but you should know that.

I try not to drive because my friends like to have a party in my back seat, if you smell what I mean.

On game-days, we all head to the liquor store in one car and grab a big bottle of Jameson with apple juice for chaser. It’s a Bay Area thing.

We then drive to the Fremont, CA BART station because Milpitas doesn’t have a stop yet that runs to it. We just put the whisky in Gatorade bottle to sip on later. We prefer not to spend $15 each beer.

BART is a public transportation system that travels throughout the Bay Area. It’s basically a subway train. The fare from Fremont to Oakland is less than $11 and you avoid traffic on Interstate 880. The ticket booth is just inside each physical train station. Or you buy tickets at available a Lucky’s or Albertsons grocery stores too prior.

On the way up, BART has its characters within the train. At times homeless people are passed out seated, or an argument breaks out in front of you. It’s kind of like a luck of the draw thing but we’re used to it by now. I have been taking BART since being a kid. Follow the Facebook page B.A.R.T. Rants & Rave for videos!

Coliseum Way will be your exit. Just follow the crowd and they will lead you to Oracle Arena. It’s probably like a 15-minute walk so bring an umbrella, just in case.

Go Warriors!
