The Best BBQ in Austin, TX

I used to always drive past Terry’s but never wanted to go in by myself to eat. I had just moved to Austin. It wasn’t until my best friend visited me from The Bay, that we both got to experience Texas BBQ together.

I ordered the cream of corn, peach cobbler, sweet tea and three pieces of moist brisket at the counter. My bill was right around $25. My friend and I then sat at a table gushing Terry’s three signature sauces onto our brisket (sweet, spicy and original). We dug in with our forks and ate.

Instantly, we both looked up at each other with our eyes-wide and resumed eating without talking to each other. It was truly a magical moment.

That’s my experience every time I eat here! Wait time to order is never that long (30 minutes) and the people are nice. You can drink a beer while waiting in line.

Do not forget to order the sweet tea.
